RUApplying is a confidential information exchange for high school seniors applying to selective colleges and universities
RUApplying enables you to share intended college application selections with classmates in an aggregated, confidential format sectioned by high school. With this information, you can gain an understanding of the applicant pool from your high school, avoid unnecessary crowding of applications, and make better decisions about where to apply.
The need for a tool like RUApplying was recognized when in a recent application cycle, 25% of the students in one senior class applied Early Decision to the same two highly competitive universities. With more information, these students may have opted to better distribute their applications, resulting in improved outcomes for all applicants.
RUApplying provides a platform to confidentially exchange such information - now known only to high schools and colleges - and use it to better allocate your time and money in the application process.
As this platform is intended solely as a useful tool for students, RUApplying does not host ads or sell data. Period.
